Equivalent Exposure & the Exposure Triangle (this is the title of your blog post)


The 3 camera settings that comprise the Exposure Triangle are shutter speed_, _aperture & _ISO_.


On the back monitor of our Nikon D3400 cameras, the aperture setting is displayed by _second_ circle. Apertures (from smallest openings to largest openings) are typically numbers f_28 , f_,16 f_11 f_8, f_5.6, f_2,

ISO 1,600 F/5.6

The shutter speed settings are shown on the _1st_circle on the back monitor. Expressed as ractions_ of a second, the shortest or highest shutter speed on our cameras are 1/__4000_____ seconds and the longest or slowest shutter speed is __30___ seconds.


The third setting _ _iso _ controls the camera’s sensitivity to _ _ light_ _ _. This setting goes from 100 to __128000___ (max) on our cameras.

To set the ISO on our cameras, we hold down the _fn _ button an rotate the _ command dial_ _ _ _ _ _ Set the iso to 400. Then set the aperture to f5.6,
